Updates for Fall 2014
Hi all,
Just a short note to let you know that FH practices will be on Mondays next year. Katie scheduled all her group classes that day, so Suzuki ( for those of you that do both) and FH will be on the same day. Time is 6 to 7:30 at Selkirk ( There might be different time slots for different ability levels - stay tuned.)
We will also combine the weekly instruction and camp fees as well as the cost of the new T-Shirt/hoodie into one fee to make it easier for you to pay in one or two installments and for Marisa to do her accounting. We are taking the fees we all paid last year as a guide.
Dates to mark into your calendar that we are aware of already are as follows:
Mondays for regular practice time
On the following weekends Gordon Stobbe will be in Whse to teach the tunes for the second half of The Fiddle History of Canada, part 2:
October 4/5 and 11/12/13 (Thanksgiving)
February 21/22 and 27/28/March 1 (Rendezvous)
May 2/3 and 9/10 (performance prep)
Workshop times for the different groups of fiddlers and back-up musicians will be determined as we get closer to the actual weekends.
Enjoy the remainder of the summer,
Gisela
